A major photographic exhibition by acclaimed British-Maltese photographer Lorenzo Agius is currently transforming the public spaces of Corinthia London during the 2026 BAFTA Awards season. Titled LOOK AT ME – Framing the Iconic, the immersive installation runs throughout February and showcases 44 large-scale portraits that span Agius’s remarkable three-decade career.
Born in London to Maltese parents, Agius has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary portrait photography, celebrated for his ability to capture not just fame but the humanity behind it. His early breakthrough came with the era-defining campaign for the 1996 film Trainspotting, and over the years his lens has framed some of the most recognisable faces in cinema and music, from Ewan McGregor and Madonna to Angelina Jolie and Will Smith.
Curated by Professor Charlene Vella of the University of Malta, the exhibition suspends glass-free portraits through the hotel’s lobbies and corridors, inviting visitors into unexpectedly intimate encounters with iconic subjects. Presented in collaboration with the Maltese High Commission in London and Visit Malta, the show not only celebrates Agius’s artistic legacy but also highlights the international reach of Maltese art on the global cultural stage.
LOOK AT ME – Framing the Iconic continues at Corinthia London, 10 Whitehall Place, SW1A 2BD, through 28 February 2026.
