The takeover of Armier by drug-traffickers

After several checks and confirmations, The Maltese Herald can confirm that a clique of drug traffickers from Qormi/Ħamrun area, including Michael Camilleri tal-Bżar and  associates, have been taking possession of boathouses in Armier, Mellieħa. They have been trading in these boathouse for quite some time now, and they use them as a means to launder their money to each other.

Some of the boat-houses have been acquired illegally and others have illegal works going. The planning authority is also aware of these irregular activities in Armier and has occasionally issued notices but the rampant takeover of Armier by drug traffickers is ongoing without much pushback by the government.

Individuals in this Armier network include Michael Camilleri tal-Bżar, Frankie Grima, amd Allan Muscat (Galletta).

Basically, these drug dealers are creating their little town and the government is tacitly supporting this illegal venture as it intends to regularise all planning illegalities.
