A criminal organisation vying for a dictatorship

The most fitting description of the Labour Party right now as it spends millions of Euros in public funds for its propaganda and with the press and propagandists that appease it is that of a criminal organisation. As the Labour Party rolls out a Christmas wish-list-styled electoral manifesto by dishing out subsidies and welfare hand-outs, inside the Labour Party the only political discussions ongoing are not about policy or political science – they are between literal criminals who are fighting each other over spoils, nominations and parliamentary seats.

Even Neville Gafa is now back as a regular feature at Mile End. Joseph Muscat’s faction within Labour has never been stronger since 2020 and the Prime Minister’s role has become exclusively that of mediating between the interests of his criminal associates and different factions inside the party.

From here on, the decline is only accelerating exponentially. These criminals will do whatever it takes to remain in power, even if it means burning the whole country down in the process.

At this stage the Opposition is no longer a feature of political mediation – it is the main block preventing the Labour Party from turning Malta into a full criminal dictatorship.

    The sooner the Minister of Finance bursts the bubble he is living in, the better. Seems like all he is interested in is percentages! So if we are doing so well financially, why are we so lacking in long term infrastructure projects? All Dr Abela and his ministers can come up with is employing people who are already in the private sector with a government ghost or unproductive job and festivals of all types to alienate people. Incidentally he also remarked that the private sector does not employ TCNs for fun, but because they are needed. Oh well, some of them are needed to do the jobs of the Maltese who thanks to this vicious system are allowed to collect their pay without doing 1c worth of work. Not to mention that the government ministers are employing people through contractors who provide HR for the government. And then when the PN proposed a 4 day working week, Mr Caruana was quick to ridicule the proposal since our workforce is not productive enough. So if I may ask, which part of the workforce is not productive enough, the private or the public? And why all this? If all the surveys are showing a comfortable win for Labour Party why all this aggressiveness to win more votes? Why is the Labour Party trying to rot the few decent people remaining with more promises that look like they are coming from Disneyland playbook? And who is going to pay for this debt our country is racking up? Is this system sustainable, is it possible to live like this indefinitely?

    Mr Clyde Caruana tries to depict a picture where the Labour Party is the only government capable of managing the country’s finances. He tries to project this belief that major crises happened only when he entered the political scene. So let me remind those with a selective memory, that post-9/11 there was a major economic slump; and in 2008 there was an energy/food economic price shock and the financial crises. There were also many arrivals of immigrants by boat. Yes Covid-19 was huge and the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East have their impact too. But Clyde Caruana never mentions how much assistance we get from the EU? So Mr Clyde Caruana, why don’t you tell the people that the much hated and beginning and end of all evils, the EU and the Euro saved during these hard times? Why don’t you tell the people that if it were not for the vision of the PN, and if Alfred Sant and Joseph Muscat had their way, we would have remained isolated and begging for vaccines from North Korea, China and Russia, like the Mintoff days? And let us not forget that yes under the PN we had excess deficit but you know what? When EFA took over the reigns, Malta had a money load in the famous Kaxxa ta’ Malta, but was a third world country with no infrastructure, nothing. Small basic airport, no freeport, coal firing power station, telephones for the lucky families, color TVs for votes, we had nothing. The PN government rebuilt Malta’s infrastructure and created the foundations for a modern Malta, Freeport, Malta International Airport, opened telecommunications for competition and privatized Go and gave licences to Vodafone (Epic) and Melita, privatized Mid-Med and BOV and Lombard and set up the MFSA, set up the structure for the gaming industry, the Valletta cruise port and brought millions in assistance from the EU. And brought Ryanair to Malta. And built the Gozo ferries in the Malta Shipbuilding to try to save it and tried more than once to rebuild Airmalta. But what the PN government had to endure was the continuous protests from GWU, the protests and demonstrations, the ‘Issa Dasqhekk’, What happened to the GWU for the past 13 years? They are on the gravy train so complete silence. They don’t give a heck about the abuse of foreign workers! These days the GWU is busy renting its property.

    If only the majority of the Maltese could realize that we are not living in a normal democracy – the PL in government is literally dismantling everything, right in front of our eyes – and we say ‘thank you’ for the pittance it hands out, as they gobble the trophies.

    The PL has regrettably become an organization that thrives on thrash and crime, and it so desperately needs to stay in power at all costs!

    The moderate and discerning PL Supporters, and the Non-Voters can save our country from hell!
