One of the lawyers who has supported my work and taken up my case is David Bonello, who is contesting the general election with the Nationalist Party. He has been very supportive of both my work and The Maltese Herald, having also worked as a journalist in the past.
We won a major constitutional case against the National Book Council thanks to his work and service, and there can be no better testament to his abilities than that.
He is going to be a great addition to politics as a staunch defender of free speech and fundamental values — it will be good to have him there.
