The head of the Chamber of Lawyers, Peter Fenech, should be pressed on whether he has accepted any payment from Yorgen Fenech over his theatrical charade that led to the strike by the lawyers in Court in defence of Yorgen Fenech. The local press is finally catching up to this story.
The lawyer who made the claims about the interception is Charles Mercieca, Yorgen Fenech’s lawyer. The Chamber of Lawyers has effectively done Yorgen Fenech’s bidding. The lawyers who instigated this charade include Giannella De Marco and Joe Giglio, who has just been re-confirmed as the Justice spokesperson for the Opposition.
The Malta Security Service Services have flatly denied that these interceptions took place.
