Russians retaliate against Ukrainian civilians as their shadow fleet sinks

Ukraine has struck at least 76 oil-tanker, cargo and shadow fleet vessels in the Sea of Azov this week, continuing its campaign to deplete the Russian war machine of its main sources of revenue and logistical supplies. The results of Ukraine’s campaign have caused widespread fuel shortages across Russia prompting Russia to ban diesel and petrol exports, but the shortages are now affecting the Russian army on the front.

Apart from importing refined oil from India and Belarus, Russia is now also importing oil from Kazakhstan to relieve its oil supply situation.

Russia, however, is still priorities fuel for missile and drone strikes against Ukrainian civilians, continuing its war of terror across Ukrainian cities. Airstrikes during the weekend have been record in multiple Ukrainian cities including in Kyiv, Sloviansk, and also Zaporizhzhia. Five civilians were recorded killed in the city of Sumy as Russia hit the city with guided aerial bombs. Two children were also killed in the city of Kramatorsk this weekend by Russian glide bombs (feature image).
