Labour MEP Daniel Attard renews his attack against the authorities for prosecuting Joseph Muscat

Labour MEP Daniel Attard has renewed his attack on prosecutors and Inquiring Magistrate Gabriella Vella over the investigation and prosecution of disgraced ex-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

He reiterated that the accusations against Joseph Muscat are unjust and renewed his attack on the experts appointed by the magistrate, including Jeremy Harbinson, who is refusing to testify over fears for his life.

The magisterial inquiry led to the prosecution of Joseph Muscat and many others over what the Maltese courts have described as a fraudulent public hospitals deal between the government, Vitals and, subsequently, Steward Health Care.

Daniel Attard built his political popularity through his campaign to defend Joseph Muscat, which has become the defining characteristic of his political career and his most significant contribution to Maltese politics.

Joseph Msucat and his close associates are all facing serious allegations of corruption and even murder but it is all a big conspiracy theory that they are embroiled in this mess and that is why Labour needs to take over the authorities and consistently campaign about Joseph Muscat’s innocence.

Makes sense.
