Daniel Attard defends Joseph Muscat and says he is being persecuted

Was Daniel Attard’s latest message approved by the Labour Party’s communications chief?

What is the point of having a communications chief in the Party, if the main message of the Party is being constantly overridden by Joseph Muscat’s faction?

The Labour Party Leader and Prime Minister, Robert Abela, is losing the battle for the face of the party.

Daniel Attard is currently being investigated by the Belgian authorities for accepting a free VIP ticket to a football match by Huawei and failing to disclose his meetings with them. Joseph Muscat is also suspected of having brokered the meeting.

Robert Abela should purge Labour of everyone loyal to Muscat. But he can’t do that because he would end up losing 30% of Labour.

Unfortunately for him (Abela) he has a situation where he knows the right thing to do is erase Muscat but if he does he will make a large number of Labour supporters angry.
