From Tonio Fenech’s grand-father clock, to Joseph Muscat’s bank account in Dubai, the supposed socialists of the Labour Party have learnt to compromise and sell their beliefs in exchange for the popularity that Joseph Muscat provides for them. Here are some of the socialists in Labour who defend and celebrate a millionaire politician with a bank account in Dubai that has been funded via public funds.
Undoubtedly, the champion of Joseph Muscat’s rehabilitation into politics and public life has been Alex Agius Saliba who is now the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. By having Alex Agius Saliba appointed as the Deputy-Leader of the party, Joseph Muscat put his mind at rest that the Labour Party will not be discarding him.
Following Alex Agius Saliba is Daniel Attard who was recently introduced to Huawei by Joseph Muscat. Daniel Attard is mimicking Alex Agius Saliba, his thoughts and behaviour and is even engaging Joseph Msucat’s daughters to work for him at the European Parliament. Daniel Attard made a name for himself by being a lackey and an opportunist after being filmed holding the umbrella for Minister Chris Cardona. Today, he opportunistically uses Joseph Muscat’s popularity to further his political career and has completely tied his political fate to him.
More recently, we also had retired Judge Toni Abela declaring on the public broadcaster that he doesn’t want to pass judgment on Joseph Muscat, and he is happier instead to indulge us with some bullshit nostalgia about how much he loved reading Karl Marx as a young socialist from Marsa. Anything for a bit of of popularity even lying unabashedly when you are aware that many people will hear lying in public. A public political debate of lies and stupid inanities brought to us by Labour’s prime propagandist: Saviour Balzan.
These pseudo-socialists, and others like them in Labour, should be asked whether they believe it is acceptable for a sitting Labour Prime Minister to leave office after six years with an additional bank account in Dubai and a net worth that quite literally makes him a millionaire: something he never was before becoming Premier.
