Labour MP Ramona Attard has been making a great deal of noise and protest over the Church’s decision not to take disciplinary action against Gozitan priest Michael Said. She says that victims should not report such cases to the Church, but to the Police.
Ramona Attard is the same Labour MP who wants to increase libel damages against the press and has repeatedly condemned journalists for breaching court-imposed reporting restrictions.
Michael Said was publicly identified by The Maltese Herald after previous reporting on the case had referred only to an unnamed Gozitan priest.
Ramona Attard is one of those sleazy Labour operatives who are unprincipled and opportunistic at every turn, and who cannot stomach the idea of an independent press scrutinising her and her colleagues over their sleaze and corruption.
