UPDATED: We need to correct the reporting because the meeting featured below took place yesterday with the meeting executing a recount and confirming that Wayne Sammut got more votes than Eman Felice.
However a new meeting is being organised in the coming hours at CNL on this issue since Party delegates are still calling out election fraud. We will be updating you with the results.

The Labour Party’s election committee is going to hold an emergency on the elections of the Executive Committee later tonight. A message to the committee members has been sent and is being reproduced below.
” Qed insejjah laqgha urgenti tal kummissjoni illum fid 9.15 ta filghaxija. Min mhux se jattendi jibghat messagg fuq whatsapp sad 9.00 ta filghaxija. Il-Laqgha fi CNL se ssir xorta fid-9:15 bil-membri presenti. Anthony Borg Caruana. ”
Delegates supporting a Labour Party nominee for the Executive Committee are claiming that he was cheated of his seat at the executive by stuffing votes of Eman Felice into the ballot box of Wayne Sammut. Eman Felice is a canvasser of Owen Bonnici and also a government employee. His public job serves as compensation for his online trolling and constant canvassing for Owen Bonnici.
Party delegates have also told me that Eman Felice has been using his position at the Housing Ministry to gather votes, clearly implying he was promising favours in exchange for votes. You can find his Facebook profile here.
On the other hand, Wayne Sammut (who is also a government employee) is one of the Prime Minister’s canvassers.
Delegates have also informed me that the attendance to the General Conference was significantly lower than last year’s.
