Labour government plans super yachts for Marsascala

The Labour government is still planning to install berthing facilities for super-yachts in Marsascala according to a series of statements and replies made to PQs yesterday in Parliament by Housing Minister Owen Bonnici.

Plans are still being drawn up to increase berthing and servicing facilities for yachts and super yachts in Malta and these plans are being drawn up by the Transport Ministry, Minister Bonnici said. The Minister added that the rights of swimmers should be protected.

Opposition MP Adrian Delia asked the Labour government with a plan that has concrete aims.

    Disgusting that Minister Bonnici should contradict Prime Minister Abela’s pledge from February 2022 that a yacht marina would not be placed in Marsaskala Creek.

  3. They are all liars. Before the election the PM went on record that no yachts will berth at Mscala creek. And now Owen Bonnici is declaring that plans are being prepared for yachts to berth ar Mscala creek. The election is over, and now that once more they are in power, they do what they want.
