A law on undeclared wealth to strike drug dealers? No thanks, says Labour

If Home Affairs Minister Glenn Bedingfield wants to seriously clamp down on drugs, he would support a law on undeclared wealth: a law which Labour has persistently apposed along with its opposition to Anti-Mafia laws.

Drug traffickers, like with many other criminals are more easily brought to justice if the authorities have the laws and tools that enable them to go after their wealth, but Labour has been opposing such laws given that these may also impact politicians who have hoarded wealth with corruption.

Here is Abdulmomen Abudagil (or simply Abdul) flexing it on Instagram this week. He’s also still promoting his imprisoned boss and drug trafficker, Lilu l-King, whose asylum status in Malta was revoked by the Home Affairs Minister.

Abdul, who plays for Xgħajra Tornadoes FC, is a member of Lilu l-King’s drug cricle, if I were to use the same terminology used by the Home Affairs Minister.  He is out on bail after having been charged over a violent case of rape of another man in a gruesome case in which Abdul and his crew tried to intimidate and humiliates their victim.
