Don’t give money to individuals who pretend to speak for Palestinians: here’s a list of official charities

I’m glad that it has been cleared then given that Omar Rababah (a Bashar al-Assad supporter) was born in Malta to Syrian parents, his unregistered and unregulated solicitations for money are more acceptable, apparently. Don’t give money to individuals or grifters online who pretend they are speaking for Palestinians.

If you would like to donate money to official and registered charities that are currently helping Palestinians, and even donating to the people who are directly and actually providing and delivering aid to the Palestinians you can do so yourself without the help of these “middleman”. Here are some links.

Norwegian Refugee Council

United Nations Relief and Works Agency

United Nations Crisis Relief

UNICEF

Oxfam

To my knowledge, Omar is a Maltese citizen (having a Maltese mother and being born here). He, therefore, would not have applied (or received) refugee protection.

Omar Rababah is not a refugee and not even an immigrant – not that that should matter, except to blatant racists. He is half-Maltese and was born on the island, having only the Maltese nationality. If you’re going to call people out, do it accurately. If you lie once, there’s no reason people should trust you on anything else.
