The Georgian Parliament has approved the first reading of the “Russian Law” with 83 votes in favor and 0 against as the Opposition boycotted the vote. Protests are ongoing in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi, while President Salome Zourabichvili vouched to veto the law. The proposed law has been the cause of massive protests in Georgia since early last year.
