Israel bombs and blockades Jenin in the West Bank as Israelis protest in the streets

Israel has successfully blockaded and bombed Jenin, in the West Bank last week after it said it was pursuing terrorists having killed Wassem Hazem. Two children and an elderly man were also killed yesterday as the IDF bombed and destroyed many parts of Jenin.

Meanwhile, Israelis were out protesting in the weekend in Tel Aviv and across the country after it was announced that six Israeli hostages in Gaza were found dead having been killed by Hamas. Israelis are set to continue the protests today demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government and an immediate ceasefire to the war in Gaza (now also in the West Bank). Protestors have also called for a general strike starting today.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation is delivering Polio vaccines in Gaza.
