Pogroms against the Palestinians in the West Bank by Jewish settlers have continued this week with incidents occurring in Betlehem, Jorish in Nablus, and Kafr ad-Dik in Salfit. Jewish settlers, burnt homes and cars, and sprayed graffiti on houses before they left. Some Palestinian residents have reportedly ended up without their homes. Bethlehem is also being regularly targeted by settlers.
Yesterday, Israel also conducted an airstrike in Tamoun, in the north of West Bank, claiming to have killed three militants, but two boys under the age of ten were also killed in the attack.
Israeli settlers are setting up billboards in the West Bank with the Arabic words on them saying “No Future in Palestine” and an image of displaced residents from Gaza. Israel is waging a soft war on Palestinians in the West Bank as it bulldozes towns and cities and allows Jewish settlers to attack Palestinian homes steal Palestinian land. IDF bulldozers are now parked at the entrance of Odala south of Nablus, just after IDF bulldozers demolished civillian infrastructure in Mikhmas.
Israel has announced it has plans to annex the West Bank with incoming-President Donald Trump signaling he supports such extreme measure.
