Azerbaijan turns former Armenian homes into student dormitaries in Stepanakert, now Xankəndi

Azerbaijan has turned previous Armenian homes and apartment complexes into student dormitories in the city of Stepanakert, now Xankəndi, following Azerbaijan’s take-over of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The University which was inaugurated in Xankəndi, by Azerbaijan’s President and de-facto monarch and dictator Ilham Aliyev is called “Qarabağ University” (Karabakh University) is already hosting hundreds of students but is yet to upload its website.

Azerbaijan is in the process of erasing Armenian memory, history and culture in Nagorno-Karabakh whilst resettling it with Azeris after expelling more of its 100,000 Armenian citizens last year.
