As soon as we have normal government, Miguel Borg, who was paid €300,000 a year by Bank of Valletta while he gave a fraudulent loan of up to €35 million to the fraudulent Steward Health Care, would be in a position to be investigated on why he lied to the bank’s shareholders, the staff and the directors when he gave his approval to a fraudulent loan. This website was the first press outlet to publish his story. Eventually, he was forced to resign by the bank.
For defrauding Malta’s biggest bank €35 million, Miguel Borg has been awarded a position as CEO of the newly formed Malta Government Venture Capital Ltd, a public company that is supposed to invest in Maltese startups.
As a startup ourselves, we find this decision truly insulting, offensive and even disgusting and it serves as a fitting symbol to Labour’s ever more disgusting greed and wanton looting of our nation. It’s also a perfect symbol of the widening gulf that exists in our society between the hard-working people and individuals and the class of Labour elite who can’t stop pigging out at the expense of us all.
