Following the publication of this story about Silvio Scerri’s sprawling development in Żejtun, various sources approached us to inform us with more details about the case. Apparently, the speculative venture in ODZ is being managed by Silvio Scerri’s lawyer, Ishmael Psaila. Silvio Scerri tried to get him elected on the Labour Party Executive Committee, but failed.
Apart from taking care of the project itself, Ishmael Psaila has also been entrusted to threaten and lie to land owners in the area about the development. To some of the nieghbours, he also seems to have told them that he owns the land himself. However, he was seen multiple times with Silvio Scerri in the area.
Ishmael Psaila is also one of the many lawyers of Joseph Muscat.
