The US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin was seen in Kiev this week in an announced visit. The surprise visit took place following the Ukrainian government’s presentation of its Victory Plan which includes a provision that says that Ukraine should arm itself with nuclear weapons if the Western Allies fail to provide it with security guarantees.
Ukraine is currently fighting Russia inside Russia’s Kursk Oblast and in Ukraine, west of Donetsk city in Donbas, where Russia has been making steady gains.
Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump has threatened to stop all military aid to Ukraine if he is elected to office.
