Yesterday in Court, during the ongoing case over the Identity Malta fraud scandal, the police inspector responsible for the case testified that the investigation and subsequent arraignments were initiated due to public posts about the case made by Jason Azzopardi. The case involves a racket by Identity Malta officials who allocated many addresses fraudulently to third-country nationals.

Jason Azzopardi was also involved in preparing the legal documents for the cases initiated by NGO Repubblika and also the Nationalist Party over the Vitals and Public Hospitals scandals. Recently, he also helped NGO Repubblika with their Police report over the fraudulent contract awarded to the wife of the Minister of Tourism.
