A coordinated attack against Jason Azzopardi

Yesterday, I’ve spoken to someone who is privy to all the details of the case and story about Jason Azzopardi being arraigned to Court for filming inside the Court building and in the corridors of the Court.

I am reluctant in making statements without verifying them, irrespective where they come from, but I can now actually confirm that this case is not about justice at all, and it’s part of an insidious campaign to politically smear and attack Jason Azzopardi. This I know because I confirmed that the Court Services Agency, didn’t have any interest in investigating the case before they were pressured to do so by the Justice Ministry. The Minister of Justice, Jonathan Attard also testified against Jason Azzopardi in Court.

I also confirmed that the police were not involved in the investigation and the evidence was procured by the Court’s Services Agency through their surveillance cameras. The Court Services Agency is legally empowered to hold investigations on its own.

The Office of the Prime Minister may have been involved because the Justice Ministry wouldn’t exert pressure without the Prime Minister’s approval. The Minister of Justice and the Prime Minister are wasting their time attacking their fiercest critic with a ridiculous case, instead of ensuring that actual organised criminals face justice.

Thank you, Mark. Very interesting and very important. Robert Abela becomes more and more unstable by the day. Potentially very dangerous. High time he was kicked out and replaced by someone like Chris Fearne or Clyde Caruana. Better still, hold an early general election. But Labour won’t want that because it’s too risky.
