More legal troubles for Joseph Muscat: the Electrogas Magisterial Inquiry

Joseph Muscat’s main defense in the Vitals and Steward court case is that the Magisterial Inquiry was a political witch hunt against him and those who worked with him. He and his criminal clique smeared and attacked the Inquiring Magistrate and are now aiming their attacks at their inquiry’s specialists and investigators.

The ex-prime minister and most corrupt person of the year n 2019 will have more attacks and smears to orchestrate if this will be his consistent line of defence in his legal troubles. As reported earlier this year, the Magisterial Inquiry about Electrogas has been completed and is currently being discussed by the Police in preparation for arrests and further interrogations and interviews that need to be held.

Several individuals including Yorgen Fenech have already been interrogated about the case. Keith Schembri and Konrad Mizzi have also been questioned and are expected to be arraigned. It remains unclear whether Joseph Muscat will be arraigned over the Electrogas inquiry. However, if he is not, it is highly likely that multiple defendants and his own friends will shift the blame onto him, as he was the Prime Minister who approved the project.

Apart from the Electrogas Magisterial inquiry, there is also the ongoing Magisterial Inquiry of the Enemalta wind-farm in Montenegro. Then there is also the ongoing Magisterial Inquiry over Macbridge and 17 Black.

Joseph Muscat is surrounded by inquiries and investigations and his defence about being politically victimised will fall flat on its face as soon as he is arraigned in Court over new charges.
