Mark Bajada hasn’t actually invested €1.5 million into Digital Traffic Brain

Many deals that are aired on Shark Tank don’t actually go through or are re-negotiated following the presentation of the actual paperwork. I was very skeptical about the claims being made in the media that Mark Bajada is stupid enough to throw €1.5 million into developing a traffic application for use in Malta, and in fact he didn’t.

The company, Digital Traffic Brain, which the Nationalist Party dedicated a press conference to, isn’t even worth €100,000, and the shareholders haven’t even paid up the majority of their shares. Clearly, there was no €1.5 million investment and Mark Bajada is already demanding government support. Undoubtedly, his investment seems to be conditional.

He’s also a fan of Dollar-Store Nietzsche whom he describes as “a great philosopher”. Everything can be great with government subsidies, including a solar-panel business or an AI traffic app in Malta.

“Dollar-Store Nietzsche” is an amusing description of 12 Rules for Life. Did you coin the term? Although I quite like Jordan Peterson, I couldn’t finish his book. Using his belief in God to support his reasoning didn’t do it for me.

Besides, it’s an open secret in ICT academic circles that the lauded professor made a career piggybecking on his students work.

    1. Why am I sadly not surprised.

  3. I’ve come across this person both as the Mayor of Valletta and on the School Board. There is something distinctly disquieting about him. Prof Joseph Mifsud sort of vibes.
