President Donald Trump demands to annex Gaza: Saudi Arabia opposes the plan

President Donald Trump gave a press conference yesterday along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington D.C where he stated that the US will annex Gaza and reconstruct it. The plan is to send Palestinians from Gaza living in other Arab countries. Saudi Arabia opposes this plan.

Prime Minister Netanyahu flew to Washington saying that he will discuss with President Trump how Israel can further redraw the map of the region. He is currently wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes in Gaza along with his previous defense minister Yoav Gallant.

Forcefully displacing a population is also a war crime and this is probably the first time ever that a sitting-US President has proposed the forceful deportation of a whole people.

Israel also wants to annex the West Bank with President Trump also supporting the proposal. Israeli Defense Forces are currently flattening Jenin in the West Bank following a series of attacks and raids on the Palestinian territories since October 7th 2023.
