Christian Borg’s lions have been refused by both local and foreign rescues

Following our confirmation that the abandoned lions on a Naxxar farm are owned by Christian Borg, we can now also confirm that both local and foreign rescues have refused to take them in.

Sources which have refused to take the lions have informed us that the lions are in a very bad state and they can not guarantee that they were ever trained. Sources have also told us that unless the lions are shipped to a foreign reserve with ample facilities and resources, the lions would potentially pose various risks.

The farmer who was supposed to take care and feed the lions didn’t attend to the lions regularly and as a result have been left undernourished. Experts also fear for the mental health of the animals due to their treatment and their prolonged periods in a confined space.

The government has so far offered no solution but is actively trying to cover-up for Christian Borg. More updates soon.
