European leaders stand behind President Zelensky after being abused by Vice-President JD Vance at the White House

European government and political leaders have made statements in solidarity with Ukraine and President Zelensky after he was abuse at the White House by the US Vice-President JD Vance. The US Vice-President shouted at the Ukrainian President as he pointed his finger at him accusing the Ukrainian President of “gambling with World War 3”. JD Vance also accused President Zelensky and Ukraine of running out of men, to which President Zelensky replied “Come, and see.”

French President Emmanuel Macron backed President Zelensky following the meeting by saying that “Russia is the aggressor, and Ukraine is the aggressed people. I think we were all right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia 3 years ago, and to continue to do so.” Other European leaders also expressed their support.

Ukraine was invaded by Russia which has killed more than hundred of thousands of Ukrainian civilians and committed many atrocities. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian children were kidnapped by Russia for which President Vladimir Putin faces an ongoing arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court.

President Zelensky is in Washington to supposedly sign a mineral rights deal with President Trump but there are no news about it yet. Reports state that Zelensky left the White House without signing a deal. President Trump threatened Zelensky during the live press conference telling him that if he does not sign a ceasefire “the US is out”.

  1. well well well no one had been railed so hard in the oval office since Monica Lewinsky

  2. Unbelievable behavior by Trump and Vance. And it’s not the first time in the last few weeks. Expect Trump to deny all this happened in two days time. At this point, Ukraine needs to consolidate diplomatic and defense efforts with European Nato and UK partners. Afterall, in that group there are two nuclear powers. America cannot be trusted. An ad-hoc coalition of countries that make up Nato needs to be set up, provide defense capability to Ukraine including enforcing a no fly zone. And lets stop fearing nuclear retaliation. The moment Russia launches a ballistic missile, a trident missile pops out of the North Atlantic from a Vanguard-class sub, destination Russia. Go in, and get this sorted. People need to recall that a military grade nerve agent was used on European soil. It will be used again if there is appeasement.

    1. Nato is over, been over for a while now. The US and Russia played Ukraine and the skidmarks at the helm of the EU like a fiddle. This now is just comic relief for public consumption while the clan deals were made elsewhre.

Trump’s and Vance’s words are shameful but JD Vance is right about one thing: the Biden (and Europe’s) doctrine failed. For three years, the allies of Ukraine talked tough but never followed it up with meaningful action.

Sure, Russia was hit by sanctions but there is practically no historical evidence that sanctions can change regimes (vide Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela and so on), and that is before taking into consideration how incredibly leaky sanctions against Russia have been. Meanwhile, all Ukraine got was half-hearted aid and endless talk of solidarity. Nobody was willing to speak the only language that Vladimir Putin understands: hard military power.

After Ukraine proved resilient following the first few weeks of war, the allies should have backed Ukraine by imposing a no-fly zone. Then, they should have put boots on the ground and threatened Putin with nuclear war. That would have been the right response. If that’s World War III, then so be it.

Unfortunately, it appears that the West has learnt the wrong lessons from the Second World War. Barring ceremonies on Remembrance Day, the war is only talked about in terms of human suffering that must be avoided. It is not talked about from a political perspective as a just and righteous war in which the Allies emerged victorious, and which should be repeated if the need arises.

Putin (and Xi Jinping) sense this and have made a cold, hard calculation about the West: that it is too decadent to fight for what it claims to believe in. Instead of disabusing them of this notion, the West has played to type, proving to be more concerned about not having air-conditioning in summer and fuel in car tanks than saving its Ukrainian brethren. At no point in the past three years has the West shown itself willing to be inconvenienced by Ukraine, let alone die for it (this puts into question what kind of security guarantees exist for small states like Taiwan and Malta; is anybody willing to fight with and for us?).

In 75 years’ time, there will be no veteran heroes’ ceremonies. Grandparents laid down their lives so that future generations could live free, but we cannot even be bothered to create the next generation (see my previous comment about the birth rate) let alone die for it. The West is ageing and has a stagnant economy, but it seems to be content. Like an old man who has had enough of the world, it wants to cash out, put its feet up and enjoy its pension. All we get from our leaders are empty comments on social media (which scare absolutely nobody) and endless meetings of solidarity (no doubt followed by nice lunches and self-congratulation on a job well done).

Military victory was the solution to this war. Meet fire with fire. Instead of celebrating victory, though, the West now finds itself bested by a country whose economy is roughly the size of Spain, not because of some great military tactics (its military is atrocious, as proved by its death count) but because the West was too lazy to act, and Putin could wait out the war until geo-politics turned in his favour. Shame on the EU. Shame on Biden. May we all get what we deserve.

Nah you are looking at this from the wrong angle. Let me sum it up for you because clearly few over here in Europe watched the entire meeting.

      – Zelensky: Give me more money and weapons.

      – Trump: No, we need a ceasefire first and mineral guarantees, so the USA has an economic reason to be involved.

      – Zelensky: No, I won’t negotiate with Putin. Putin is pure evil and won’t abide by the ceasefire.

      – Trump: Well, you need a ceasefire first, because we aren’t going to give you more money and military equipment, if you don’t agree to our terms.

      – Zelensky: Give me more money and weapons.

      – Vance: We’re trying to end this war through diplomacy. Giving you more money and weapons just prolongs the conflict.

      – Zelensky: You don’t know shit about what’s going on in Ukraine. Your diplomacy with Russia won’t work.

      – Vance: You’re losing, you retard. You’re losing so badly that you’re pulling strangers off the street and pushing them to the frontline.

      – Zelensky: You don’t know shit. You will feel the disaster of this war in your country eventually.

      – Trump: Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel you little midget monkey. You don’t have the cards. You’re nothing without us. And you’re the dumbass that keeps saying you don’t want a ceasefire.

      – Zelensky: We’ve been fighting this war alone for 3 years.

      – Trump: You didn’t fight this war alone, retard. We gave you hundreds of billions of dollars in cash, aid and access to advance waring intelligence tech and other military equipment. Russia would’ve steamrolled your ass in 2 weeks if we didn’t back you up. If you don’t want our diplomacy, then go fight the war by yourself, asshole.

      ~ END ~

It should be clear to everybody that Zelensky does not want a ceasefire. He just wants more aid and military equipment with no strings attached. He got used to the Biden admin money laundering scheme because he was profiting. Now he’s trying to save his ass by going to the Euro allies but it’s clear that’s going to fizzle out pretty fast. He should stop begging for money. The US should to the same with the Israleis but clearly that’s a different dynamic altogether… Ultimately like any other war ever fought it’s all about securing resources. Now the Russians have what they wanted and the US is going to get their money back one way or the other. The rest is just vacuous talk about democracy and freedom which have always been and will always be propaganda talking points. The US has lost it’s strategic interest in the squabbles of Europe and will shift it’s focus on the Pacific to try drive a wedge between Russia and China.
