Pope Francis snubs US Vice-President and refuses to meet him

According to The Daily Beast, Pope Francis refused to meet with US Vice President JD Vance and instead sent Cardinal Pietro Parolin to meet with him. The Cardinal discussed migration issues with the Vice President.

The US Vice-President followed the Italian Premier to Rome after she visited the White House, only to make a show of himself at the Vatican by attending Mass. His wife, a practicing Hindu, also joined him in the effort.

We tried to verify the story by The Daily Beast by sending questions to Vatican officials but received no reply until now.

Pope Francis is scheduled to give his annual Easter Mass today at 10.30AM which will be followed by a regular Urbi et Orbi blessing at noon.
