For 1st May 2025, the Labour Party Celebrates the Oligarch Economy

The alleged socialists of the Labour Party like Alex Agius Saliba are celebrating the oligarch economy for the 1st of May. They are saying that thanks to the sale of Malta’s passports, we could make use of capital to spend on social projects and support the economy during the pandemic. He even says that some of the funds were used to help local bank clubs.

Politicians from Labour are ready to say any outlandish stupid and obscene thing just to justify their government’s and the party’s actions, and we know that at this point it’s getting so stupid they may even start justifying outright repression and fascism. Apparently, for socialists it is no longer important how to make money as long as it is spent on social products and handed to band clubs.

The Malta Individual Investor Programme (IIP), dubbed as the Golden Passport Scheme, was never in the Labour Party’s electoral manifesto. It was announced soon after Joseph Muscat was elected into office. Malta sold up to 5,000 passports many to Russians and Chinese individuals without any proper security screening and due diligence checks. The European Court of Justice ruled against the scheme and the Maltese government is now obliged to shut it down.

The Golden Passport scheme was not just a way to secure capital for “social projects”, but also a honey-pot scheme for Labour insiders and many well-connected lawyers. Many benefitted greatly from this scheme, especially ex-disgraced Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, and the incumbent Prime Minister himself. Many past socialists literally entered into the foreign-residency and passport business, quickly selling their values as they gained the option of easy money.

Note that we are in the bizarre disinformation stage where the lawyers of Russian and Chinese oligarchs, who are buying Maltese assets including Maltese nationality, and actually pose a serious threat to our national sovereignty, are projecting their parasitic behaviour to our nation onto the European Union. This is textbook Russian disinformation. Henley & Partners, the official salesmen of Maltese passports have posed a serious risk to our national sovereignty by promoting this scheme. The Times should have never published their statement.

The scheme compromised Malta’s national security to a very serious degree and intensive investigations still need to be demand to uncover the full extent of the risks that the Labour Party has imposed on Malta and the Maltese population by imposing this extremely risky scheme. The negative effects on our national security, which may also be very serious on a long-term basis, do not include the negative effects this scheme has imposed on Malta’s property market by being a contributing factor to Malta’s housing affordability crisis.

For a socialist, on a political and moral level the scheme is simply obscene and one of the most extreme forms of commodification of the State. It is literally the equivalent of the privatisation of nationality. Labour sold Malta, our nationality and our language to the Russians and the Chinese.

Since PM Robert Abela insists to find a way to continue with the ‘prostitution’ of European citizenship, residency cards and visas for free movement within the EU, I wonder how much he would accept to sell his attractive wife to be abused by a rich foreign crook or for sex trafficking?

I think it is a fair question to ask when his values are inferior, learning from his dear Russian native pal Joseph Muscat how to be a rotten criminal and a sterile idiot like his “big balls” by not showing much respect for European law and civil rights.
