Last Saturday evening, Joseph and Michelle Muscat had dinner with their friends, Diane Izzo and her husband, along with Matthew Fenech of TUM Invest and his wife. One of Joseph Muscat’s daughters was also present. The dinner was at the Contessa Restaurant of the Phoenicia Hotel. TUM Invest was previously part of Tumas Group and is owned by Matthew Fenech’s father, Anthony (Ninu) Fenech.
Seated at another table, in the same restaurant and at the same time, was Jason Micallef with his wife with another couple. They did not interact with Joseph Muscat but Joseph Muscat and Jason Micallef do speak in private.
Matthew Fenech is also associated with the developers of Fort Chambray. however he is also the cousin of Yorgen Fenech who will soon go to trial on the accusation of masterminding the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia. Yorgen Fenech was a close friend and collaborator with Keith Schembri, Joseph Muscat’s Chief of staff, who enabled a systematic corruption scheme with offshore companies over the Electrogas project. Yorgen Fenech is accused of murdering Daphne Caruana Galizia after having revealed the extensive corruption scheme over the Electrogas Project.
Tumas Group is still a major shareholder of the Electrogas Project.
Matthew Fenech’s wife, Vanessa Fenech, is also a friend of Diane Izzo.
Diane Izzo’s previous Chief Financial Officer (Dizz Group) is being charged with money-laundering and is suspected of being a front for Joseph Muscat.
Matthew Fenech may claim to have no ties to the Tumas Group, yet he shows no hesitation in publicly associating with Joseph Muscat. They all belong to the same Joseph Muscat Party: a wretched hive of scum and villainy. But what truly matters is this: what are Matthew Fenech and Joseph Muscat discussing, and in what ways are they helping each other?
