Yesterday, President Donald Trump celebrated his birthday and National Flag Day with a mediocre military-parade in Washington. US Army soldiers marched half-heartedly and lacking dressing-formation in front of the US President and his coterie of government officials in a rarely held military parade in Washington. President Trump is now 79 years old.
Up to 7,000 soldiers, 28 tanks and 50 aircraft participated in the parade. The parade cost up to $45 million to organise.
The last large-scale military parade in Washington took place in June 1991 to commemorate Victory Day in the Gulf War against Iraq.
On the same day a pro-Trump shooter murdered a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband at their home. The US Department of Defense celebrated National Flag Day by promoting an image with two Russian flags.
