A spokesperson from Moviment Graffitti has escribed Alex Borg, currently vying for the PN’s leadership as “the parrot of real-estate developers.” Alex Borg lied about the Fort Chambray development to defend its developers when he insisted that the developers were obliged to pay for the restoration of the walls. He was requested to apologise for his erroneous remarks by the Standards Commissioner.
Apart from environmental concerns, the real estate and housing crisis affecting younger generations will be one of the most important issues in the upcoming elections, alongside the rule of law, which has, in part, contributed to the former crisis. Alex Borg is the worst possible leadership candidate to take on this national crisis.
Alex Borg hasn’t even become PN Leader yet but he has already been earmarked with a very politically-charged derogatory description: il-pappagall.
