Rapid Support Forces keep shelling Al-Fashir following attacks on Abu Shouk camp

Al-Fashir city is still being shelled by the genocidal Rapid Support Forces following shelling on the refuge camp of Abu Shouk, just outside the city, last week. Many residents in Abu Shoul still feel under threat and are also trying to flee.

At least 31 people, including seven children and a pregnant women were killed after the genocidal Rapid Support Forces started shelling the Abu Shouk displacement camp outside of Al-Fashir city. The militia group shelled the camp after it failed to capture the city in an assault earlier this month. Colombian mercenaries also took part in the assault alongside the RSF. Famine is ongoing in Al-Fashir as a result of the RSF-imposed siege on the city. The US government condemned the RSF attack against civilians in the Abu Shouk camp.

The RSF uses war crimes as military tactics and conducts attacks on innocent civilians every time it experiences a military setback. This is not the first time that Abu Shouk camp has been shelled by the RSF after they failed to capture Al-Fashir. The RSF have recently massacred up to 500 people from the Zamzam camp after their military loss in Khartoum. The RSF is supplied and sponsored by the Untied Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, footage has been released by the RSF showing one of their terrorists killing a civilian during their raid on the camp. The civilian was shot as soon as he disclosed that he is from the Berti tribe. The Berti tribe is considered as an enemy by the genocidal RSF for being non-Arabs and for resisting the RSF’s takeover of Al-Fashir.
