Montekristo Estates investigated over illegal zoo: watch, man could insert his fingers in tiger’s cage

The media and activist group Vuċi għall-Annimali have stated that the Police are investigating Montekristo Estates over its illegal zoo following their visit to the premises last Saturday. The group has also reported the presence of a tiger, a panther, lions and also primates at the zoo.

Police were called to Motnekristo Estates last Saturday after activists reported that the site was operating an illegal zoo.

Below you can see a video of one of the activists next to the tiger’s cage. The illegal zoo was once in hot water in 2015 after a young child visiting the illegal zoo was violently attacked by a tiger.
