Industrial production in Malta keeps its upwards trend

According to latest figures by the NSO, Industrial production in Malta has kept its increasing trend after dipping earlier this year. Industrial production increased by 4.75% from the month of June and was 4% higher compared to the same month last year.

Malta’s upward industrial production trend is also aligned with that of Europe’s.

The increase in industrial output was mostly registered in computer and electronic equipment (24.8%) followed by chemical and pharmaceutical products (12.6%). Production of rubber and non-metallic products decreased by 14.1%.
