While the Labour Party is conducting a very dirty and disingenuous disinformation campaign against Albert Buttigieg, one of the few honest and reliable politicians in the Nationalist Party, I want to express my full solidarity with him. Albert Buttigieg deserves to be re-elected again in Parliament and Malta needs more politicians like him.
The Labour Party is making false claims about the PN MP over statements he made two years ago with regard to hunters who had acted illegally. The Labour Party is putting these statements out of context and falsely claiming that he was referring to all hunters – the Labour Party is lying.
I know how it feels when someone is at the receiving end of lies and disinformation and Albert Buttigieg is going through a challenging period. He has my support and I vouch to support anyone who is a victim of dirty disinformation campaigns.
Albert Buttigieg needs the solidarity and support of all well-meaning people in politics and I hope that the Nationalist Party will support him thoroughly.
