Businessnow.mt defends Alkagesta and denies that it is being investigated (the owner of the company is under arrest)

Businessnow.mt has turned full mercenary and is now defending Allkagesta, even spreading fake news by denying that Alkagesta is being investigated while its owner is under arrest in Azerbaijan for fraudulently dealing in Russian oil. They also claimed that the we are the only source for these claims – the story has been published throughout the press in Azerbaijan (including BBC Azerbaijan), Poland, Georgia, Romania, Russia and other countries.

Businessnow.mt, owned by Jesmond Bonello of Content House, is now being sponsored by Alkagesta.

Businessnow.mt is basically a local pseudo-press outlet, funded by the government, that is currently being paid by a foreign company to attack the local free press.

Apart from the fact that this erratic behaviour is very mercenary and also treasanous, we have a saying in Maltese for this kind of behaviour. It’s “Mejjet bil-ฤกuฤง.”

I also have the perfect theme song for Content House. You can listen top it below. Enjoy.
