Ukraine cuts Belgorod’s power supply after Russia’s attack on Ukrainian infrastructure

Russia has attacked Ukraine with more than a hundred drones and missiles targeting cities and civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv earlier this night, following another attack in the previous night that killed up to 5 Ukrainian civilians. Ukraine responded to today’s attack by retaliating against neighbouring Belgorod’s power supply.

Yesterday’s intensive attacks targeted the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv.

President Zelensky stated that Ukraine does not target Russian civilians, but Russians must understand the price of the daily blackouts that Ukrainians endure due to their airstrikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. The Ukrainian President also said that there is currently not enough international pressure on Russia because it has not been compelled to stop its attacks.
