US Attorney-General gives a political performance at the Senate Hearing and avoids questions about Jeffrey Epstein

The US Attorney-General Pam Bondi gave a very politically charged performance, yesterday at the US Senate Oversight Hearing of the Department of Justice. The US Attorney-General defended firing experienced attorneys and replacing them with Trump loyalists, politicising the Justice Department and avoided questions about the Jeffrey Epstein files. She also said that the FBI found no evidence of wrong doing after the Border Czar, Tom Homan accepted an irregular $50,000 payment by undercover FBI officers.

The US Attorney-General is being described by the US press as the most politically-biased US Attorney in history.ย  She was also entangled in a controversy after contradicting herself about the Jeffrey Epstein files, with the Justice Department denying her claims that walking back on her claims that it had Jeffrey Epstein’s client list.

The US government promised full transparency about the Jeffrey Epstein files and promised full disclosure but has so far failed to publish any files with new information.

Attorney-General Pam Bondi defended herself by accusing Democrat Senators of going on a witch-hunt t against President Trump and using their power to pressure authorities to prosecute Donald Trump.ย  She condemned the politicisiation of her department and said that her office has never ignored a Court order.
