FBI Deputy-Director Dan Bongino has clashed with Attorney-General Pam Bondi over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein’s files. The story was first broken by Axios, and reporting by CNN confirmed that Dan Bongino did not go to work on Friday, but he has not resigned.
Attorney-General Pam Bondi was Florida’s Attorney-General when new evidence and reports of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes were revealed during civil lawsuits by his victims.
The Department of Justice has recently published an 11-hour-long surveillance footage of the entrance to the cell block of Jeffrey Epstein, supposedly proving no one entered his cell before he allegedly committed suicide. The footage has one minute missing and when asked about this, AG Pam Bondi said that all surveillance videos came with a minute less due to default settings. Wired also ran a report after it investigated the footage, and reported that although there is no evidence of deceitful manipulation, the footage was composed of two different clips and processed four times before being publicly released.
Attorney-General Pam Bondi, previously said that Jeffrey Epstein’s client list was on her desk, but later on, the Department Of Justice said that Jeffrey Epstein’s client list doesn’t exist.
Dan Bongino is a former police officer and Secret Service agent who hosted an eccentric show on Fox News, where he peddled conspiracy theories about the coronavirus and the effectiveness of wearing masks. He unsuccessfully ran for Congress three times with the Republicans.
