Jeffrey Epstein’s survivors to compile a list of their abusers

Up to a dozen of victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his sex-trafficking ring held a press conference today in front of the Capitol in Washington. The press conference was planned in response to President Donald Trump’s claims that the Jeffrey Epstein’s case was “a left-wing hoax”. Republican House representatives Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Nancy Mace attended the press conference along with Democrat House representative Ro Khanna.

Survivors shared their stories about Jeffrey Epstein and described him as a very influential individual in the circles of fashion, business and politics who lured women with promises of careers and success. During the press conference, one of the victims announced that they will be compiling a list of the individuals who abused them and said that no billionaire or politician is above the law. The Department of Justice said that Jeffrey Epstein’s client list does not exist, contradicting earlier claims by the Attorney-General that the client list was on her desk.

Another victim said that she was appalled that the Department of Justice transferred Ghislaine Maxwell to a low-security prison following her interview with the Department.

Previously held at the from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Tallahassee, Ghislaine Maxwell was transferred to the Bryan Federal Prison Camp a minimum-security facility in Texas, in late July 2025 after she was interviewed for nine hours over two days by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case. She is currently serving a twenty-year prison sentence for sex trafficking and was Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirator.

A lawyer of one of the victims said he was surprised when he heard President Trump saying that Jeffrey Epstein’s case was a hoax because he remembers speaking to him in 2009 when Donald Trump was helping the authorities with information on the case.

Congressman Thomas Massie said that full transparency is needed to achieve justice for the case and Congresswoman Ro Khanna said there was bipartisan support to see that there was transparency about the case and urged the Department of Justice to release all the files. The Department of Justice is in the process of releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files but no new information has been released with many of the documents released having been redacted.
