President Trump says Epstein files are an invention by the “radical left” defends Attorney-General Pam Bondi

President Donald Trump wrote an unusually long tweet about Jeffrey Epstein, comparing the story of his missing client list to the “Russia hoax” and calling it an invention by the “radical left”. The Department of Justice has claimed that Jeffrey Epstein’s client list does not exist, but previously Attorney-General Pam Bondi said that Jeffrey Epstein’s clients list was on her desk.

The incumbent Federal Attorney-General Pam Bondi was also Florida’s Attorney-General when new evidence about Jeffrey Epstein’s resurfaced during civil lawsuits.

The “Russia hoax” as President Trump calls it, was an investigation by former FBI Director Robert Mueller which indicted 37 individuals and 3 companies and convicted up to 7 individuals who were close to President Trump after having receiving undeclared financing and support from Russia over the 2016 Presidential election.

President Trump defended Attorney General Bondi and instructed his FBI Director and his Deputy, whom he referred to as his “boys”, to ignore the Epstein files and instead focus on the “rigged 2020 election” and “voter fraud,” among other matters. FBI Deputy-Director Dan Bongino clashed with the Attorney-General over her handling of the case.
