The Department of Justice has released the full transcript of its interview with convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. The transcript can be found here. Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a twenty-year prison sentence for human and sex trafficking of minors in conspiracy with her partner Jeffrey Epstein. Earlier this month, Ghislaine Maxwell was transferred from her prison facility in Florida to to a minimum-security facility in Texas.
In the interview transcript, Maxwell poured praise on her previous friend Donald Trump, whom she described as a gentleman and stated that she never saw him getting a message or doing anything inappropriate. She denied many allegations against her including that she recruited a Virginia Giuffre from Trump’s property Mar-a-Lago Club. She also denied the Washington Post’s story that Trump sent Jeffrey Epstein a letter with the drawing of a naked woman. Ghislaine Maxwell also denied a Jeffrey Epstein client list exists. In addition, she also said that she doesn’t believe that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself.
Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking scheme, testified in court that Ghislaine Maxwell recruited her from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, around 1999 or 2000, to work for Epstein, leading to her subsequent abuse. Virginia Giuffre, aged 41, died by suicide according to official reports, on April 25, 2025, at her home in Neergabby, Western Australia.
