Trump feels vindicated over email showing his denunciation of Jeffrey Epstein: email also describes cover-up

President Donald Trump is celebrating over an email that shows him denouncing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to the Florida, Palm Beach Police Chief in 2006 after Trump knew that Jeffrey Epstein was being investigated over child and human trafficking.

The email is dated in 2020 but the interview with the police chief took place in 2019: the police officer said that Donald Trump called him in 2006 and thank him for investigating Jeffrey Epstein because “everyone knew” what he was doing and also described Ghislaine Maxwell as evil.

The email was uncovered in the latest release of the Jeffrey Epstein files,

When previously asked about Ghislaine Maxwell, President Trump wished her well. Ghislaine Maxwell had her prison conditions improved under President Trump’s administration as she was moved from the Federal Correctional Institution of Tallahassee in Florida to Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Texas. Before her transfer, she was provided with immunity for an interview with the Department of Justice in which she praised Donald Trump and denied that he did any wrongdoing. Questioned this week by the House Oversight Committee, Maxwell pleaded the Fifth Amendment and refused to answer any questions.

The email confirms previous statements that Donald Trump had fell-out with Jeffrey Epstein over a property deal in Palm Beach and later on expelled him from his Mar-a-Lago property after poaching one of his female employees. Donald Trump had a close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein but tried to diminish the extent of his relationship with him.

There are also allegations in the latest files release accusing Donald Trump of raping a thirteen-year old girl.

In the same interview with the police chief, there are more interesting details mentioned (see below). The police chief describes a cover-up from “higher sources” with regard to the plea-deal signed by Florida’s Prosecutor Alexander Acosta, who was eventually made Secretary of Labour by President Trump in his first term.
