Rosianne Cutajar was on Television Malta this week (public broadcaster), on Ricky Caruana’s show to be exact, literally bragging that the Police didn’t arraign her in Court after investigating her over the fraudulent ITS cotnract. This was the first time that Rosianne Cutajar was investigated by the Police.
The Opposition MP, Mark Anthony Sammut, who was present during the programme, said it was worrying that the Police didn’t arraign her in Court.
The show was basically an attack against the free press and free speech with the host condemning negative comments against the disgraced ex-premier Joseph Muscat and his wife Michelle Muscat. Rosianne Cutajar repeated her regular adage that she was a victim of smears and attacks.
Rosianne Cutajar threatened and sued me for libel, a case which she gave up, and lost a criminal case which she instituted against me. She personally went to the office of the Attorney-General and demanded the Attorney-General to prosecute me over the publication of chats between her and the suspected murderer of Daphne Caruana Galizia, Yorgen Fenech. The Prosecutor obliged and the Courts and the Police have pressured me ever since to remove the chats between her and Yorgen Fenech from this webiste.
Basically, Rosianne Cutajar is bragging that Attorney-General has covered up for her and that the Policer are supporting this cover-up, according to her.
She also lies in the programme saying she never said “I am going to pig out”. This is not true and this is exactly what she said, with copies of the exact chat below. She said “I don’t give a damn now, and I’m going to become a consultant with Pierre at ITS to get another salary. I don’t care: everybody is pigging out.”
Basically the story in short is this. I revealed the extent of Rosianne Cutajar’s corruption and also her involvement with Yorgen Fenech and Rosianne Cutajar was fully backed and covered up by the government and the State. On the other hand, I have to face the full weight of the law for my right to publish, including by multiple court cases and by literally being attacked by a Judge who accused me of “terrorism”.
It is also important to note that Rosianne Cutajar herself is admitting of having been investigated by the Police over the publication of her chats with Yorgen Fenech. This means that the Courts are currently punishing me for publishing material that prompted a Police investigation.
I will be, obviously, filing an official protest with the Broadcasting Authority over the TV programme that was aired on TVM, but most importantly, I’m currently waiting for my appeal at the Supreme Constitutional Court, while Rosianne Cutajar is being rehabilitated by the Labour Party. I will be taking all the necessary legal action to clear my name and set things right with this case. This is a grave case in which the State bullied a journalist in its extensive cover-up of a corrupt politician: a total circus and travesty of justice.
