For those saying that the incumbent Minister for Justice, Jonathan Attard was presejnt at the protest shown here, simply as a “journalist”, then allow me to remind you of the positive coverage the Labour Party gave to all the environmental organisations back then, and compare it with the vile and acerbic rhetoric by ONE News about the same people today.
In 2010, Jonathan Attard paid a beautiful tribute to Lino Bugeja, founder and president of the Ramblers’ Association. Today, ONE News is accusing the association’s current president of being an “anti-government Repubblika activist,” even though in its old feature, it quoted Lino Bugeja saying that partisan attacks on environmentalists are wrong.
ONE News went from producing beautiful homages to Malta’s environmentalists to attacking them with disinformation and vile rhetoric.
Lino Bugeja would have a heart attack today if he knew what Jonathan Attard was doing with his proposed destructive planning reforms.
