Justice Minister Jonathan Attard has filled the entities and institutions his ministry is responsible for with as many Labour Party activists as possible, including the Office of the Attorney General. One of the latest institutions which he has hijacked with a massive employment spree of Labour Party activists and canvassers is the Buildings and Construction Authority.
Dozens of people without any qualifications, many of them Labour Party activistsย have been employed with the BCA. Some employees don’t even know how to use a computer. Many of these unqualified individuals are being paid a salary of up to โฌ2000 per month.
In particular, two employees who are marked in the circles below, are the Minister’s own canvassers. The man on the left is Marco Barbara. Marco Barbara was previously a canvasser with ex-Minister Chris Cardona. You can also find an interesting history about Marco Barbara here.
The BCA was supposedly transferred under the responsibility of the Minister for Justice to increase its regulatory role, standards and work following a series of building collapses that ;eft several people dead including a woman from Hamrun and a construction worker.
