TASIS blames Muammar Ibrahim for the war in Sudan (Al-Jazeera)

Interviewed by Al-Jazeera (Arabic), the official spokesperson of the Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS), Alaa Eldin Awad Nugud, blamed abducted journalist Muammar Ibrahim and other journalists for causing the war in Sudan. Alaa Eldin Awad Nugud described Muammar Ibrahim as one of the primary causes for the war in Sudan.

TASIS is the political arm of the Rapid Support Forces and Muammar Ibrahim has been abducted by the RSF after they stormed the city of Al-Fashir around the 26th of October.

Alaa Eldin Awad Nugud has regularly condemned the media and journalists, accusing them of inciting violence and spreading Islamic content. He also accuses Al-Jazeera of the same accusations. He is based in Darfur.

The Maltese Herald is currently conducting a campaign to pressure Western authorities to call for the release of Muammar Ibrahim.
