Russia launched more than one hundred drones at Ukrainian cities yesterday evening with most of the drones being intercepted by air defence. Meanwhile, Russia also fired two ballistic Iskandar missiles at the central residential district in Kharkiv destroying one whole apartment block in the process and killing two people, including one child.
In the latest press conference with President Volodomyr Zelensky, President Donald Trump said that Vladimir Putin told him he wanted Ukraine to do well. Russia escalates its attacks on Ukrainian civilians every time the US pressures Ukraine to accept a capitulation deal by Russia.
A meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place next week in Europe to discuss further developments in the proposed peace plan for Ukraine, as well as ongoing support. Support for Ukraine by the Europe and the allies has topped record levels in 2025 despite the US withdrawing its support.
